I don't paint quite as often as I used to. My initial tendency was to work with watercolors, so majority of my 2015-2016 was spent experimenting with this medium. I gradually shifted towards oils and had a few successful paintings happen by accident. I eventually shifted to acrilyc paints and stayed with this medium to this day. I believe that my lack of formal training was beneficial in the long run, as it allowed me to be free of any assumptions about what is the most correct way to approach a blank canvas. Bob Ross was right: there are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
For ease of use, I separated my Paintings section into sub-folders labeled after the three main mediums - Watercolors, Acrylics, & Oils.
